Scarecrow Trail – Community event success

The streets of Werrington, where Insurewise is based, were buzzing over the May Bank Holiday weekend as adults and children took part in the Werrington Show Scarecrow Trail and we were delighted to support such a great family event.

The super sleuths, including Team Kisbee (Mandy and her grandson Dylan, pictured below), followed the scarecrow trail searching for clues.  42 scarecrows took part this year themed on TV and film characters.

Over 700 maps were handed out over the 3 days and it was great to see so many people enjoying the community activities raising over £900 for charity and enjoying the sunshine too.  Well done to the Werrington Show for putting on such a lovely event. Insurewise was delighted to support the Werrington Show Scarecrow Trail over the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Congratulations to the Werrington Show Committee for organising and running such an amazing trail and well done to everyone who took part in the event by creating so many imaginative scarecrows or following the clues and exploring their local community.

Here are just some of the amazing scarecrows created for the event by people who live in the local community.
