Platinum Jubilee Community Scarecrow Trail

If you were in Werrington, Peterborough – the home of Insurewise Limited – over the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend (2nd – 5th June 2022), then you would have seen lots of youngsters, ably assisted by family and friends, searching for Jubilee-themed scarecrows scattered around the village.

Over 1,000 people took part in the Werrington Show Committee’s Scarecrow Trail, following the map to find each of the 30 scarecrows and their Jubilee-themed clues celebrating  Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee – 70 years on the throne.

Insurewise was delighted to support this community event bringing people together from different generations to have fun and explore their local surroundings.  A big “thank you” to the Werrington Show Committee who organised this event once again this year, the residents in the PE4 area who showed off their creative talents with their Platinum Jubilee-themed scarecrows and, most of all, the youngsters and adults who enjoyed exploring the trail searching for the scarecrows and the questions, expanding their knowledge of Queen Elizabeth II during her iconic 70 year reign.
